Our Town Engineer

Itayi Terence Mashonganyika Pr. Eng, is the Director of Works, a seasoned professional Engineer with 15 years of practical experience across the public sector at both Central and Local Government levels. Before joining Marondera Municipality, the Engineer has under his portfolio National Development projects completed while working under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Development for 5 years, Marondera Rural District Council (1 year) and Marondera Municipality from the year 2012 to date. Engineer Mashonganyika holds an Msc in Construction Project Management (NUST), a B-tech (Hons) Degree in Water Engineering (NUST), a Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering and a Diploma in Structural Engineering. Engineer Mashonganyika is a member of several professional associations including the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers (ZIE, Corporate Member), the ⁠Engineering Council of Zimbabwe (ECZ, Professional Engineer) and the South African Institute of Civil Engineering (SAICE, Associate Member).
